Technology Integration
Technology is a fundamental tool utilized in all areas of education and contains an ever-expanding abundance of resources that optimizes student learning by increasing their engagement, encouraging critical thinking, and facilitating a collaborative and interactive learning environment. Educators have a responsibility to introduce effective technological tools for students to use safely and ethically in the classroom.

Students' development in digital literacy in my classroom will be fostered through accessibility of the art content online for students to view and reference in their learning. The posted media here support differentiated learning and provide ways for students to communicate and connect within their communities by sharing their artwork through these tools. ​
Watercolor Techniques
This is an online lesson on watercolor techniques for students to build their skills with this specific medium. Creating different textures through material manipulation allows for students to play with how versatile watercolor is through these techniques.
Learning Outcomes

- Students will analyze and identify the types of textures created through various materials.

- Students will create different textures with watercolor and household materials.
​
- Students will apply these different textures of watercolor to produce a still life painting in an abstract form.

Gesture Drawing
This lesson is an introduction to a basic construction of figure drawing called gesture drawing where students will use linework to capture the movement and pose of a figure.
These videos are used to provide students access to information on the overview of gesture drawing and the materials they'll need in preparation for this project.
